Backlink247 and the Shift to Relevant Backlinks for Sports Sites

Sports websites live on a calendar.

Sports websites live on a calendar. A season opens, a tournament bracket fills in, a championship weekend arrives, and for a few days every fan on the internet searches the same fixtures, results and athlete names. Then the traffic drops, and the editors are left asking why a site with fast, accurate coverage still sits behind older domains. A big part of the answer is links. Over the last few years the way site owners buy and judge links has been changing, and a Vietnamese-built link exchange like Backlink247 is a useful window into where that change is heading. This article uses it as a case study: what the trend is, what the platform shows publicly, and where it falls short.

A quick note on language: the interface is in Vietnamese only, and I found no language switch. If you do not read Vietnamese, use a browser translation tool. The site is aimed mainly at SEO professionals and site owners in Vietnam, although its country filter lists options such as the United States.

Trend one: from quantity to relevance

The older approach to link building was a numbers game: get as many links as possible, from anywhere. The homepage of Backlink247 states the opposite in plain words. It says that relevant referrals matter more than quantity, and it describes its approach as building links from a diverse network of sites with related content. That is a marketing claim, and I cannot verify it from the outside, but it shows how sellers now talk to buyers.

For a sports site this is easy to picture. A link to your tournament preview from a page about regional athletics is worth explaining to a reader. A link from an unrelated page about, say, laptop accessories is not. Search engines are generally believed to read topical context, so the trend toward relevance makes sense, even if nobody outside the search companies can say how much weight it gets.

Trend two: marketplaces replace cold outreach

Cold outreach still works, but it is slow. You write to fifty editors, five reply, and two want money anyway. A marketplace compresses that. On the Buy Textlink page I saw 717 listings, shown 100 per page across eight pages. Each row gives the page URL with its category, DA and DR scores, monthly traffic, a homepage price per month, a full-page price per month, and a column marking whether the link can be placed automatically. There is a filter for site topic with roughly 89 categories, a separate filter for accepted categories, a placement type (single page or full site), and a country filter. An advanced search adds minimum and maximum DA, DR and traffic.

For an editor planning around a fixture list, the value is speed of shortlisting. You can narrow by topic and country in a minute instead of a week of emails.

The homepage and feature summary say buyers pay only while the link exists, and that money is returned if a link is lost. The fast indexing tool is described as refunded in full if the page is not indexed. The FAQ page backs this with a guide on textlink checks by site owners and refunds when a textlink does not show on the website. It had 1,107 views when I looked.

This matters because seasonal sites cannot afford a link that vanishes in the middle of the season. But I only saw titles and teasers, not the full conditions. Read the complete refund article before paying, because the details decide whether the guarantee protects you.

Trend four: open metrics, closed prices

Here the platform pulls in two directions. The metrics are public: every row carries DA and DR, plus traffic, and each row has a button that opens an outside checker. The prices are not. Each price cell I checked asks you to sign in first. The only money figures in public are the deposit bonuses on the homepage: a 1,000,000 VND deposit earns 50,000 VND, then 100,000 for 3,000,000, 200,000 for 5,000,000, and 500,000 for 10,000,000. By my arithmetic that is 5 percent, 3.3 percent, 4 percent and 5 percent, so the bonus does not grow steadily with the deposit. Chasing a bonus with a big first deposit makes little sense. One FAQ title also mentions a free link for first-time account registrations, but I could not read the conditions, so treat it as something to confirm after you sign up.

The featured sites box shows why you should read numbers carefully. It lists five sites with DA from 94 down to 71, yet monthly traffic of 8,700, 5,000, and then 0, 0 and 0 for the last three. High authority with no traffic is not the same as a site real readers visit. For a sports site that wants relevance, traffic and topic should weigh at least as much as DA.

A situation: an athletics results site before a regional meet

Picture a small site that publishes start lists and results for regional athletics meets. It has one flagship page for the season calendar and another for all-time records by event. Its editor has a modest budget and six weeks before the biggest meet of the year.

A sensible plan using this marketplace would look like this. First, pick the single page that needs support, probably the calendar. Second, filter by topic and country, then write down five candidates. Third, open each one by hand and check that it publishes real articles and is not crowded with paid links. Fourth, register, look at the actual prices, and read the refund and URL-change rules (the FAQ includes a guide on changing the URL of a purchased textlink, which matters if your calendar page moves). Fifth, place one link, record the date, and track the page's search position before and after. Do not judge the result after three days. Judge it over weeks against a rank tracker or a plain spreadsheet.

Strengths and limits

Strengths: a large, filterable inventory; visible DA, DR and traffic; refund promises that are tied to the link staying live; and a spread of other services, including PBN, fast indexing, Entity and Forum services, Blog 2.0, Podcast, Google Stacking and low-cost proxies. Support is listed on Telegram and Facebook.

Limits: prices are hidden behind login, the interface is Vietnamese only, the featured list shows authority without traffic, and the footer says content is shared by community users and the operator takes no responsibility for it. The footer also carries an external link to a betting brand, which has nothing to do with backlink sales. If your sports site wants a clean reputation, check where you are placing your links. Nothing on the site promises rankings, which is the correct stance. A textlink is one input and cannot rescue thin content.

How it compares

Collaborator.pro, Linkhouse and Prnews.io are the names usually mentioned alongside it. I did not test them for this article, so I am not claiming any is better. The fair test is to open each one, filter to your topic, and compare which shows prices, quality signals and refund terms in a form you trust.

Who should use it, and how to begin

It suits an SEO freelancer, an agency, or a sports and media blogger who is comfortable judging sites by hand, can work with a Vietnamese interface, and has a small test budget. It does not suit anyone who needs public pricing before signing up, wants a hands-off service that chooses sites, or runs a site with only a few pages. In that case, fix the content first.

To begin, open the Buy Textlink page, shortlist five sites by topic and country, then use the buyer sign-up page, deposit the minimum, and see the actual prices. Place one order, measure it, and decide from your own numbers.
